Complaint Review: Armando Montelongo Seminars - San Antonio Texas

I had seen a TV advertisement for his program. He said over and over you do not need money to make money in his program? I will say that is half true. Here is what happened to me from the time that I booked the seminar until the time that I left the hotel. I booked my reservation over the phone on Saturday for Fridays meeting. I got an eticket in my email that day. One or two hours later I got another call asking me if I wanted to book, I advised them I had already booked. Then I got another eticket in my email. Two days later I got another call and I told them the same thing and got another eticket in my email. I noticed on the ticket it was from a different call center all 3 times. I dont know if someone gets paid for bookings or not. So I posted a Comment on Armandos webpage about it to let him know because if he is paying per booking I dont want him to get scammed. So here comes Friday I was really excited about going, got out of bed at 4 am to make the long drive to see him and was hoping to learn a lot. At one time I had 10 rentals and I remember the cash flow it brought me. When I sold them all because they where mobile homes I never thought I would miss them. However, last year I was very ill from a serious Staph infection and almost died because of it. I was misdiagnosed; I was told I had a spider bite on my back. After being given penicillin, it got larger and more painful. Then I was given a stronger antibiotic, a muscle relaxer and pain killer that I ended up having a bad reaction to, it made me delusional. Long story short, I ended up in the hospital barely hanging in there and unaware of most of it. It was take the risk of surgery while my vitals were risky or take the chance of waiting and the infection exploding into my blood stream or spine. I had to have surgery that found 9 pockets of ooze that was 9.5 diameter by 4 deep. My surgeon said it was the most serious case he had seen. Between the pre-hospital treatment, surgery, at home care and follow ups it was about 8 months. Just before this had happened my girlfriend and I were laid off from the same company making a combined income of $120k plus bonuses. We had the hummers and comfortable lifestyle, but lost it and lived on savings. I moved to Texas to get a job, which ended up being a bait & switch (youre worth this much and well pay it, but then you get there and well we can only afford to pay you this lower amount), but I got sick before I was to start and then never got to start. Because of the lay off, flying through the savings and almost dying, I was down to only $15 about 7 months ago. We were able to survive for the past 6 months on unemployment that just ran out. By barely getting enough to not pay all of the bills. Its amazing how you can make $10,000/month and pay your taxes but when you need unemployment you get $2,028/month between 2 people.
 
Why am I telling you this? You state that any one can do this no matter what your income is, that is not true.
This morning I got an email from a friend that said to read this website http://www.reviewopedia.com/armando-   montelongo.htm so I did, I read a few of the reviews and one man stated he did not have the $1494 to enroll in this class but he would in a few days so they had him sign some paper work and next thing he knows he got charge $3000 I did not believe the review because I dont believe anything any more until your actions prove to me you are who you say you are. However sure enough they wanted $1497 and said it had to be paid today. I went up to them filled out the paper work and told them I need a couple of days to pay for it at that point I got the cold-shoulder feeling like you know people give you when theyre too good to be around you. I noticed they did that two other guys in there too. One guy tried to explain he couldnt pay because if he did he could not pay his mortgage they told him its a once in a life time shot. I only over heard part of the conversation but that is so wrong. The other guy had duck tape holding his shoe together and he was a farmer. I know what it is like to have $20,000 pocket change, but I also know what its like to only having a few bucks to your name. I will never forget where I come from and I think some of them might have forgot that. On the way home I was pretty shocked at the way they made me feel and my girlfriend said Ricky you know what is like to have an employee do something that doesnt represent who you are. And you know Armando is not that type of person because of his personality, it is just like your, proud & cocky. But the bottom line is just a few months ago I was on my death bed and to give someone $1497 when I cant afford it (because I literally dont have it) and then I see some red flags of how some of these protgs treat people. I would also like to say giving a sale pitch is like trying to collect on a debt. I want your money and I need to convince you to give it to me. When I did meetings to get people pumped about collections I had music playing like Pink Floyds Money. I want you to come in there, feel high and amped up. So when I get done you are ready to set the world on fire. I told my girlfriend that they just shunned a guy that loves to talk and can make dog buy cat food. I love sales and that is me. So why would you judge a book by its cover. I was well dressed, groomed and even told them I was in college for education/pre-law but did not want to be in school because I know what it is like to write you own paycheck and I want that comfort back. Like I said before a lot of people sometimes forget where they came from. I also believe I would make sure who I am letting represent my image and use my name and was sticking to the right path. The guy giving the speech said he almost lost his baby the same year he lost his job and could not even buy Christmas presents for his kids but then one day he got a package on his door with gifts, food and two free tickets to Armandos seminar and a year later he is making so much money. He could not get enough money to buy the Christmas presents he wanted for his kids but he can take a credit card and buy this course. I believe in karma big time and I just hope they dont make stories up. I am not saying he did or did not but I would give my life for my son or daughter and I would buy them a few toys for Christmas no matter what especially if I had a credit card. I dont want to say he was lying but if anyone knows what it means to start over then this guy would. Like the old saying goes do a good by someone they will remember it and might tell 10 people. But do bad someone they will tell 100 people. When I was filling the paperwork out, the guy came up and said congratulations I know you will do good, but when I told him I needed a couple of days to get the cash, he said oh and walked off. I was not even going to write this review, I was going to suck it up and leave it at that. I dont know how to explain it but when business is in your blood its in your blood and I just felt like they took a piece out of me and a few other good people there. Anyways, this is what family is all about. You have to pump your team. So yes I know what is like to have a great cash flow and I know what it is like to have it all end. I will never forget where I come from. Armando, I watched you for two years and loved your show this just gave me a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth for a few minutes and I am trying to brush it off because this was only your staff and not you. They just need to learn to treat others like they want to be treated. I know you lost 4 sales today because there was 4 of us I know that wanted to really go but needed a few days to get the money rounded up and was told buy today or its too late to get in. I think you have a great thing going, I just think a little tweaking would make it even better then what it is. I have a lot more to say but I am going to stop here.
