I am loving all the negitive publicity on Ashley Furniture Homestores/Arizona. So much so, that I decided to add my 2 cents worth. Actually, my 2 cents worth is more valuable than all 12 of Michael Jedlowski's/AKA: Southwest Furniture, Inc. 12 stores combined. Ever wander why he goes bt Southwest Furniture, Inc? It's because he is so crooked and dishonest, that Ashley Corporate would not give him a homestore under his own name. He bankrupted more than one company he has run due to his crooked dealings.
I am another Happy Ex Employee. The things I'd like to say against these loosers would not be printable, so I'll try to be subjective here. I agree with the article written by "Happy Ex Employee." The leather and fabric protection plans with Ashley are a complete farce. You are wasting your hard earned money to allow them to ram the fake protection plans down your throats.They are 100% "PURE PROFIT" for them.They do not spray the fabric, but they sure charge you enough for it. The sales people are "FORCED",with threat of being fired, it they don't, to sell this facke protection. They must maintain 75% to keep their jobs. If you sell a dining table with six chairs and do not get the fabric protection on the chairs, they count it against you 6 times for the six chairs, not once for the one sale. Their is no way to maintain 75% for the month that way. I especially enjoyed the DIRT thrown at the Puerto Rico Biker Chick(trainer), Judy Rosario. What a looser!!! MJ must really enjoy the extra corricular activity with her to keep such crap on the payroll. Wonder what his wife thinks about her!!! Then that brings me to the floor manager at the Glendale store on Bell Rd. Nepitism has no place in a corporation. After putting Shirley Furstenberg, wife of the General Manager Jim Furstenberg, on as the floor manager of the Avondale Store, which she promptly proceeded to distroy, they then moved this complete idiot to the Glendale store where she proceeded to destroy all morale at that store too.
The crap really started when this dishonest dummy started STEALING our commissions, claiming even miss spelled words as errors on their phony worksheets so they could claim our commissions and get back some of the money they just lost from all the fraud claims against them. We signed an agreement/document to receive 5% commission on all written business. No where did we sign anything that agreed that they could steal our commissions of "SPELLING ERRORS." These lost commissions went to "THE HOUSE." The state attorney general needs to investigate this incredibly crooked company.
Yes, Michael Jedlowski lost $400,000 plus $2,000-$8,000 per claim for all his crooked dealings. It should have been $40 million. He is only worth between $200-$300 million. He got that money by cheating the public and his own employees over and over again.
In the long run, maybe the state attorney general will have enough since to investigate this crook and a smart attorney will take them on in a class action suit. I'm sure there are enough ex employees out their that are also upset with being taken, that we could easily win a class action suit against him. I do feel sorry for the sales lpeople that are still there and do not have the strength to stand up to them. I did, and now I work for a reputible and respected company, making good honest money and not getting screwed over by a crooked company. Thanks for listening.
