Asm Movers - All Safe Move - Aaa Gold Star These companies will steal all your high value items ripoff San Jose, Santa Clara California
ASM Movers, AKA All Safe Move did pick our furniture and home electronics (HDTv's - Projector - Computers etc) using a rented truck in our home in Los Gatos CA last June 28. The employees had a thick accent and claimed to be from Israel.
They did show up in our home in Jacksonville Florida 7/18/07 after making some phone calls to make sure the remaining of the moving costs were going to be paid in cash. The truck was occupied by two individuals that claimed to be from Russia and volontiered the information thst they live only six month per year in the US . The truck had the following sign:
AAA Gold Star
IS DOT# 1012357
ICC # 446304
KYU #186301
There were paid in full and in cash and then proceeded to open the truck. The items that they delivered were all banged up and broken and you could see that they had fallen to the bottom of the truck during the trip or the scavenging efforts. All the high value items (which were boxed in original enclosures and so easily identifiable), incluing a motorcycle WERE MISSING. Value of missing items is close to 6,000 US $
The truck seemed to have blocked areas, and we were not allowed, nor the employees of AAA Gold Star volunteer to search into those areas.
Police reports were immediately filed with the Los Gatos/Monte Sereno Police Department as a grand theft. The Companies involved, do not answer calls, and some of their phone numbers have been disconnected.
The Company has been contacted by the police and a series of measures are being initiated.
Please do not let yourselves be ripped off by these group of con artists.
