Well the catlytic converter puked and we booked it in for replacement. They had it all day that time. They said "we ordered the part" what??? They had 2 days notice prior to us bringing it in. The second visit ... what waste of time for 1hr labor. Two trips to the shop under warranty. Then, they tried to sell me a new vehicle.

I have purchased all of my cars from Auto Clearing and have had nothing but amazing service and professional care. To call them scammers is ridiculous and your remarks are unfounded. I don't understand why someone would take the time to tarnish a companies reputation based on a claim that states nothing but how the company followed procedure and fixed your car for free. Obviously there was no actual complaint with any kind of grounds for compensation because you felt a need to whine on this site, the only place your kind of whining is tolerated. Ridiculous!

FIVE STAR DEALER FOR A REASON

I have been a long standing customer with Auto Clearing for years. There is a reason they are a five star dealership and have won numerous customer service awards......there are those few people who can just never be satisfied and my guess is you may be one of them. I have always been happy with my service there and in no way are they rip off artists. Some people will always feel they are being ripped off for their car because usually it can be pricey to fix, who wants to spend the money? The price of having a car. Of course they have to HAVE IT while they fix it and it si a busy shop, it may have taken some time, you are not their only customer. I think your complaint is unwarranted.

You know, it seems to me there are so many people who just are never satisfied when it comes to thier cars. They are pissed off because often times cars are expensive to fix, or because they actually have to HAVE your car to fix it, a slight inconvenience but what can you do? I have been a customer of Auto Clearing for 20 years, my father was a customer of theirs before me. In a business as competitive as the Auto Industry, you simply DO NOT stay in business this long without being competant, and have you had a chance to see that they are rated FIVE STAR for their customer service?? But you can't make em' all happy and there will always be those people who are just never satisfied. Yes, they are car dealers, so of course they are going to show you a car or see if you are interested in one, that's their business! it's what they do!

So What Exactly Was The Problem?

It is regular procedure to bring your car in before parts are ordered for a job, to avoid ordering the wrong parts. See, the techs have to check and see what the real problem is with the car -- most reputable auto places will not diagnose a problem over the phone. Alot of information is needed to order the correct parts for a specific make and year of vehicle, without the vehicle there it allows room for error. I fail to see how a bussiness can be called "scam artists" for being responsible and taking all the necessary precautions in order to not inconvienience a customer and assure that their work is done properly. Also, if the vehicle was on warranty, then it was at no cost to the customer, the company pays for the work. I'm also aware that Auto Clearing has two service shuttles to take you home and pick you up, so there would not be any inconvienience added for the vehicle having to be in the shop. So, let me get this straight, they are scammers for fixing your car for free, driving you back and forth, and for doing it correctly? and to top it all off they actually had the nerve to be friendly in the showroom and get you thinking that they would like to sell you another car and actually have you for a repeat customer? How dare they!
