Called Avast for tech support. Its tech did something to my computer (still don't know what) that made it unable to connect to internet. He couldn't undo what he did. I had to disconnect my pc and haul it back to Bestbuy. The Geek Squad fixed my pc for $99. Bought different anti-virus program, Kaspersky.
Called Avast and cancelled my subscription in January. (plus used facebook and twitter). There were supposed to refund me. Never did. Yesterday, they billed my card for $69.99.
Every number I have called on its website is bogus. The online chat won't give you a number to speak to the billing department. This is tantamount to fraud in my opinion.
