Well this is more of an epitaph than anything, I am an unfortunate victim of a pyramid scheme masquerading as an online "college". I will spare you all the specifics, let's just say that this is a very vicious company that has admissions councilors either brainwashed or rehabilitated to play on your sympathies. After many long years of backbreaking labor, I decided it was time for me to go back to school, and of course technology is advancing day by day. I skeptically filled out a few online forms and within a few hours I had a councilor, lets call him "Andrew", give me his spiel and even divulge information about his personal life to gain my confidence. Well, after a long conversation emulating a regular friendly phone call I was set for one of the worst experiences in my life- and I have had a sordid life. I started a relatively new degree program, Arts and something something information and technology. Well let me tell you, it was more like I was paying to beta test their flawed new curriculum. Furthermore, can you imagine paying 30 grand for a low tech forum masquerading as a "virtual classroom"? No web cam, no live broadcasts showing me that the "instructors" were not overweight teaching classes while they wear their Winnie the Pooh moo moos. This class is an affront to education, if you are considering the money you would save on gas and housing expenses, let me tell you do not tread the path I have. The founder of UOP is also the founder of a company that clones pets, if that doesn't tell you this is a gimmick intended to get a one time profit from people who are only trying to better themselves. Now I'm sure there will be some rebuttal that says," I didn't know what I was getting into", or " I am an councilor of some sort blah blah blah you don't know what you are talking about make sure you research your claims", well let me tell you this company is full of fecal matter all the way up to their "virtual classroom". Take my advice folks, cherish your free forums because I have paid the ultimate price for my involvement with these crooks. I am transferring to a REAL college, and by transfer I mean if any of my vageuly worded class names can even translate into something academically feasible.

I don't blame you for transferring. I have been through hell and back with this school and I wouldn't go back if I was forced to. This school is full of crap and they want nothing more than to flatten your wallet as much as they can. They claim I owe them $ 1710.00 which is bull. They will not get another dime from me as long as I am breathing on God's green earth.
