Bank One is one of the Worst CC companies I have ever seen come to light since the old Household Credit company.

These goons have a real nasty system too for continuing to bill even well after the Balance has been paid in full. sounds like another AOL nightmare. every place I know if you are running a balance when you pay off the balance basically the finance charge goes away.. well not with these people...

I transfered a Balance of $2,xxx.xx from them to a better CC company.. $0 for Balance I get slapped with with a mysterous Finace Charge and a sick late charge after getting more bills from them. I closed the account after my Balence was transfered.

I called their CSC and been told how I got the remaining Balance to transfer I said on-line from their website and the AAS (Automated Account System) the supervisor there said that is not the right amount and that I should have called for a closing Balance. so they soaked me for some $50 for their mistake and I been told that if I pay off the Balance on the invoice by the due date that the account would be closed with a $0 Balance.

Behold a new bill with a Finance Charge of .50 cents!!!! now they are going to charge me their late charge on top of the .50 cents and here I paid them off 2 times now!!!!!

so for having a $0 Balance $.50 is the min charge when it should be $0?? that is the Bank One way...

How can I get this Monkey off my back once and for all???

Hopefully Bank One will be Bank None someday.

I just got off the Phone with Bank One Cardservices CSR and they are going to remove the .50 charge from my account. they blame that it is a automation glitch on the server that causes this issue, BS I am sure. They still ripped me off $60 in bogus Finance Charges and sneaked in late fee after paying off the Balance right after my last smaller payment with them I had.. same BS glitch again right there I bet. their automated CSS is a pain to go through.. they make it that you have to go through 2 menus before you can even get a chance to go to a operator. I requested for a 2nd time to get a letter of account closure from them. we'll see if this monkey is off my back, if not, more to come....
