THERE IS NOTHNG BETTER ABOUT THE BBB OF BATON ROUGE consumer fraud ripoff Baton Rouge Louisiana
On a routine transmission fluid change to CAPS Transmission the technician Thomas caused my transmission to leak by filling the transmission fluid too full. This caused the front seal on the transmission to leak. I returned my vehicle 3 times and each time the owner Sharma gave me a new and different excuse as to why the transmission was leaking assuring me on all occasions that the leak was repaired. Having lost confidence in CAPs I took it to another company and filed this report with the BBB.
At the BBB I was contacted by Evelyn Landry. She said that she would look into the situation. The information I sent to her was the initial inspection done by the CAPS technician Thomas and how he noted on the repair sheet that there WERE NO EXTERNAL LEAKS.
I explained how I took the vehicle back 3 times giving CAPS a chance to repair the damage they had caused. Adding documentation as to the cost another company charged to correct the problem. None of this appeared to matter. She simply stated that, "I wish you had not acted on cancelling the charge on you credit card." Well, when I called my credit card it was them who suggested that I dispute that charge for shoddy work.
Evelyn Landry was purly looking out for the interest of CAPS Transmission. She even became annoyed when I tried to question her about the process.
IF you can help it don't deal with them, or find another informational source on companies. THERE IS NOTHING BETTER ABOUT THE BBB IN BATON ROUGE.
