After answering a Target survey on 4/3/15, a pop-up appeared to order a "gift".  I chose the beauty product and was told I would pay $4.95 for shipping.  I provided my M/C number and was then told product would ship in 2 to 3 days.  I immediately checked my account and noticed that I ws charged $5.95 and another $5.99 (plus an additional 5-cents for each shipping for out of the country fee.)

The product did not ship within 2 to 3 days and after April 13, emailed the company and was told product would arrive shortly.  I was out of town when product arrived so do not know exactly what day it delivered.  The second shipment did not arrive until 4/30 after repeated emails to the company asking where my product was.

Today I emailed the company, Beautemer, telling them I received the product which I noticed shipped out of Greenville, SC. An email came back to me that I would need to return the second shipment within 14 days or I would be charged $159.95. It was also stated that this was explained in the subscriptuion I supposedly signed up for.  There was NO paperwork involved with any of this so I was not aware that I was now under a subscription and the product would be sent for trial and if I did not like it, product could be returned at my expense.  I emailed back explaining that I am a recent widow and in no position to afford that type of monthly expense.  I was assured there was no record of my subscription and that no further shipments would be sent to me.  Then Freya emailed me and said that I had 14 days to return the product to them and that I should send them the tracking info when I got it.  Then she came back and said I had 30 days and it had to come back unopened or I would be charged $89.95.  I find some of this interesting because at one point in emails, Freya told me that they could not provide me with the tracking number as it was not available to them even though it is on the package delivered through the post office.

I thought this was a reputable offer when I signed up but when they so quickly took the money, I realized it wasn't and had to close my account so no further charges would be deducted from it.  It has caused me more undo stress than I need at this time as I now have to go to the post office and mail back the product at another expense to me.
