Complaint Review: Beyond Buzz - Los Angeles California

I don't want to do a huge report because I am sick to my stomach to have lost so much time and $3,650 with these people and theres nothing I can do that I want to put it bihind me, but before like I told them, I want to make sure I tell what they did to at least spear a few people this agony, becuase when you give them all you got to jump start your business and they screw you like this it is agony not being able to do anything,

Frrom the beggining the sign was there but it was too late. Before I paid them I had 2 people on the line telling me how good they are, Mark Campbell and Garret. I paid them $3000 (later on they send someone to call me to offer video services for addtnl. $650) and they "scheduled a kickoff call" with them and anotherone of their team, I was excited waiting for the call and nobody called, after waiting for an hour I called and said did you forget about me?? Garret said um no... you could tell they did. -Mark got tide up in a meeting but we are good to go. I said couldn't someone call me and let me know! -Yes, Amy was going to do it. WHEN?? So anyway I sent them the info and they told me to open an account with Kickstater, I said Kickstarted does not do businesses this is not a product, they insisted that we start with Kickstarter that it was the better platform and bla, bla, bla, I reluctantly did it. Weeks passed and they did 2 paragraphs and 2 pictures and calle it ready!!! we didn't even have a video, I said are you kidding me!! where are the perks?? Mark said you need to send them to us I DID!!! A MONTH AGO!!! forget it, I'll do it myself. Which I did. DID ALL THE SETUP WORK. Submitted to Kickstarted sure enough got denied because they do not do business!!!! I told them you know what, just give me my money back, I've done everything and I don't think you guys know what you are doing. No answer to that just like nothing happenene they said we will have our team transfer everything to Indiegogo.

I'm just going to copy a few emails so you can see what went on and then make your decision because I am so done with this.

We are not going to be able to offer the early birds for Valentines obviously, but we can do delivery on the early birds specials 2 weeks in from the date we launch.   Let me know what a realistic time for launching.    Hi Juliana, the team has a note on your account that the page we successfully moved to Indiegogo and is ready to submit for review. You just need to review it and also complete the account info required by Indiegogo (if you haven't already), then submit it off!    Mark, basically the team added 3 images! I'm telling you I am getting really nervous about this because you make it sound like they did something and really there is nothing there. I thought they would have also transferred the perks! NOT even the video was added. So I'll review with them and make sure nothing fell through the cracks. Thanks for your patience.   Mark, if the whole information that is supposed to go one the page fell through the cracks how can I be confident that what I paid for is going to be done? you guys can tell me we did all "we could, but your campaign was not successful" and I will have no way of knowing that you did or you did nothing like right now and I just lose my money. I have lost all confidence because it was the same on Kickstarter, your team said it was ready and it had two perks! I would like to ask for my money back and I think I have grounds for it.   Please get back to me as soon as possible.   Hi Juliana, not sure if you got my last email. When we transfer from one platform to another platform it also switches teams to our Indiegogo Success Team. So we review everything to make sure nothing fell through the cracks. We have a process that we follow to make sure the right people are working on the right campaign. You don't want the Kickstarter team working on an Indiegogo project, because that wouldn't get you the best results on Indiegogo. Make sense? Now you're working with people who have had lots of success on Indiegogo, but we had to transition the project in order to make that happen. Not sure how else to explain that. Let me know if you're still confused on how that process works. 

  Everything is on Indiegogo and looking good: 

  We are ready to launch this Wednesday as long as you can get the Funding and account info sections filled out on Indiegogo. Then we can submit for review and launch, thanks!   Mark,   I understood perfectly what you said. I was making mention of the lack of interest and attention from the get go. The "Kickstarter" team made the same mistake, you told me you just needed my approval, sent it to Kickstarter and we could launch should they approve it. When I opened the page, it only had 2 perks and you told me I had not provided more, if you look back I had provided images and description, but that too was overlooked. 

Now, the same thing happened with the "Indiegogo" team, they added 3 images and called it DONE, and then you told me they were not able to access it which was not true because like I said they added 3 images and that was it. I don't know how else to explain to you this because you are supposed to be part of it and it sounds like you are not seeing all of this. How am I going to be certain that the same lack of attention, work or interest is not going to be part of the launch and advertising. You can just tell me what you are telling me right now that these people had a lot of success with other campaign just not mine because of the product and not the effort put forward and I won't have anything to prove otherwise except all these oversights. 

Please take a look at the campaign, the video still says Support us on Kickstarter. But, it's me that I don't understand how this works right?  the images where not added to the perks. I'll do that just to get it done right. 

MANY PROBLEMS LIKE THIS CONTINUED ALL THE WAY TO THE END WHERE I WAS THE FINAL RIPOFF.

(My campaing was launched late, on a day they deem not good. Too many details to copy and paste but if someone needs them I will happily provide.)

SO THE CAMPAIGN WAS LAUNCHED ON A WED. THEY SAY TUESDAY IS THE BEST DAY, WHEN I ASKED FOR PROOF THAT THEY WERE ADVERTISING 5 DAYS LATER BECUASE THE ONLY BACKER WAS ONE OF MY FRIENDS, MARK STALLED FOR TWO DAYS ASKING ME HE DID NOT KNOW WHAT I WAS ASKING FOR!! I SAID I DON'T TRUST YOU SEND ME THE LINKS WHER MY CAMPAIGN IS BEING ADVERTISED. THE LINKS HE SENT WERE 15 HRS NEW....

MY CAMPAIGN HAD BEEN LIVE FOR 8 DAYS BEFORE THEY DID SOME CRAPPY ADS ON SITES I'VE NEVER HEARD OF. AND GET THIS, MARK SAID THAT THE CAMPAIGN HAD TO BE LIVE TO BE ABLE TO ADVERTISE, A) NOT TRUE, REAL COMPANIES START THE "BUZZ" B E F O R E THE CAMPAIGN IS LAUNCH B) YOU AT LEAST START  I M M E D I A T E L Y  SO THE CAMPAIGN DOES NOT BECOME STAIL.

If this is not enough for you to stay away, I don't know what is. This people should be put out of business.
