Bid4prizes text messages bombarded my cell phone immediately after I entered my cell phone number on a website to upload photos. The website claimed it was needed to verify my identity. Since the initial bombardement I have I received periodic but annoying text messages from them.
Recently I discovered my AT&T bill included a monthly $9.99 charge. AT&T has refunded the charges but bid4prizes unscrupulous practice needs to stop.
Please email me at
[email protected] if you have been a victim of this company. A class action lawsuit might be in order to stop them from victimizing others. It takes time and effort, not to mention the stress and annoyance, to get rid of these charges and we shouldn't have to work so hard not to be charged for something we never wanted. If there was tiny print somewhere that allowed it, then rules governing that practice need to be changed as well.
