BlackPeopleMeet / People Media My username and email acct were stolen when i joined the site and i'm getting the run around. Chandler Arizona
My information was stolen by someone in Ghana while editing a profile from their website. When i tried to report it to their "contact us" section. I can type all day long in that box and all i got was an auto reply that i would hear from someone in 24-48 hrs. When they did reply the first thing they wanted to know was the first and the last four digits of my credit card info before they could assist me.
they wanted other things too like my username, last time i could log on etc. they wanted my phone number too. I contacted three departments, technical, billing, and general and for the last four days, no one has called me back. The only thing I got back was a response saying they had given me a new password for my acct with them.
when i logged on..I had a new username...it had my pictures but someone elses profile and when i look up her profile, we are sharing the same exact words, just different pictures. when i did a search for the username that i signed up with, it had a didfferent picture but i saw my profile greeting.
i have already contacted the my bank and blocked my debit card because i was charged $18.90 instead of the $14.95 and its on there twice. i have also contacted the credit reporting agencies and have an alert placed on my information.
i keep getting these replies like someone is genuinely going to help me and call me but no one ever does. If you need details as to the usernames i'm speaking of, i will share that with you should i hear from someone.
