Beaverton Kia - Bob Lanphere's Beaverton Kia ripoff Beaverton Oregon
I purchased a 2000 Saturn Wagon from Beaverton Kia 8 months ago. The first time I went to have the oil changed, Oil Can Henry's refused to change it because the cap was on to tight and they didnt have the replacement parts to fix it if it broke. I took my car into Beaverton Kia's service shop to have the oil changed and the cap fixed on a Friday afternoon. What happend, they broke the part and didnt have another one in stock to replace it. I was stuck all weekend driving a rental! Come Monday morning I got my car back with the assurance that the part and been replaced and properly installed. About 2 weeks ago I took my car back to Oil Can Henry's to have the oil changed and to my suprise we ran into the same problem. Olny this time, the problem didnt happen until we were driving home on the highway and oil was shoting everywhere. Standing out on the side of the road in 100 degree weather we waited for a ride, and a tow truck to come pick up my car.
Since I am a young lady, I need a car that is reliable. That is why I bought the Saturn because it was much newer than the car I had before that. I decided to go back to Kia and buy a brand new car, only because that is all they could finance me for. I agreed to purchase the car even though the payments were extremely high, and beyond my limits I had set forth for the salesman. I decided that I would give and take alittle bit because it would be worth it to have a car that is reliable.
After we signed all the paperwork and prepared to leave, the salesman came out to show me how to operate all the little gagets. He went to show me the sterio and to my suprise it wouldn't work. Not only did the sterio not work but neither did the clock. A brand new car and already there is problems! He told me not to worry, I could bring it by tomorrow because it was just a fuse. On the drive home I was adjusting my mirrors when suddently the music and clock came on. A fuse....? Try a wiring problem. The next day was Friday and I took my car down to the shop. Not only did I get the uglyest, cheap, horrible running car ever to be made, and they wanted to charge me for it on top of that, its been almost two weeks now and nobody at the shop seems to even know what the status on my car is. They tell me they dont know whats wrong with it, but yet if they dont whats wrong with it how will they know it is fixed when they "fix" it.
