I purchased a Boost mobile cellular phone on 3-2-08. It had an unlimited plan of text messaging, WEB and phone calls. The paper work the company selling the phone had said the phone features were 4x zoom camera, text and multi-media messaging + AOL, Yahoo! and MSN messaging capable +Wireless WEB + bluetooth capable + GPS Enabled, Voaicemail Caller, ID Java Enable Games and APPLICATIONS alarm clock, calendar and calculator. The box said it had ringtones. Not Ringtone Capable with purchase only.

I have had to call customer service 3 times due to the phone not functioning correcting. Each time I was on hold for over an hour. Once for 90 minutes.

I was told the phone has only one ringtone installed and you have to pay 2.99 for any other ones. You also have no wallpaper without purchasing it.

I purchased a wallpaper and it did not download. I got an error message. When I checked my account online from my computor It should I was billed for the wallpaper I did not get. I waited on holder for over 30 minutes and was told it is not the policy for BOOST to refund money for failed downloads without opening an investagation. I was told to delete any ringtones I paid for. I was told that could cause problems with the phones memory. This is not mentioned in the literature. I was told I would not be refunded the payments for those ringtone which I had only had for two days and I only had two ringtones.

Dustin was rude. He did indicate the WEB service was bad and he would recommend I drop it if that is why I bought the phone.

This is the biggest rippoff I have seen on a cell phone. False Advertising.

When I wrote customer service they sent me a email saying they were sorry, and I should call customer service again about these problems. This is redundant. You call customer service they do not help, you write them and they say call customer service, knowing part of your complaint is the long wait time.
