I liked the Starbucks drink tumblers and learned the manufacturer was on-line.  Placed a $400. order 2-1-10 as a July family reunion gift.  BOTTLESS required I bank wire the money to guarantee completion of such a "small" order.  

No refund, no product to date.  Filed complaint with Oregon Better Business Bureau 10-23-10.  BOTTLESS rudely responded 11/16/10 "makes me again want to avoid working with small orders and continue working with major retailers rather than small family reunions who do not understand the concept of preordering for the next season or how we work."

Seriously?  Almost 9 months after ordering and missing the July event, I don't understand the concept?  And yes, it gets even better!  12-3-10 BOTTLESS states in BBB report:
"XXX will recieve the product that she ordered rather than a refund. If we refunded every preorder that we receive we would never be able to provide new product."

And yet again, 3-14-11 "The products that XXX ordered are on back order from our supplier so she has been refunded and we no longer offer this product as it is a supply issue from our supplier. Thank You"

Not true! 
No refund received, my patience expired, BOTTLESS now sells "Custom Bottles & Growlers" and BBB report states: "04/19/2011 Case Closed UNRESOLVED " 

This is unacceptable!

What a pleasant surprise I received today!  I am pleased to report that Mark at BOTTLESS sent me a 64 oz. handmade ceramic growler as an apology gift for the frustration I endured during our previous encounter.  It is wonderful to be the recipient of his favor and goes a long, long way in repairing the damage of my previous interaction with his company.  Thank you Mark for caring enough to make it right by going the extra mile.  I look forward to using your product when entertaining family and friends, it will be quite the conversation piece on our summer dining table.

Jean,

It is really interesting that you keep adding to your complaint especially when you know this case is completely resolved. You can simply just call or email me.

Listen, before you were refunded I asked you how much the total was and I sent you exactly what you wanted sent. If you wanted another $25 for the fee then you could have just called me or emailed back and said tack it on there. Again, this is why I do not work in the retail market. I only work in the wholesale market and you are not a business. Since this happened however long ago I think about this little complaint a lot and it just reinstates the fact that I will not take small orders from anyone which really sucks for the inquiries but I know that it will avoid future issues like I have had to deal with you. 

When I released the cup that you liked it was so popular that I produced it for 200 plus companies and not one of them had a problem with the service or the cup. You are the only person to complain out of thousands who have enjoyed their cup that we have since sold the rights too and no longer produce.

BTW, we produced the same cup for the Dept. Of Justice as they are a client and they love their cups still FYI...

Thanks to Consumer Protection at the Oregon Department of Justice, I received a money order 7/14/11 for the product orders, my bank wiring fee was not included but I am willing to accept it and consider this case resolved after 530 days of aggravated frustration.  What a waste of time and energy.

Jean was refunded by Bottless because she is not a business and Bottless only sells to Businesses. When Bottless was marketing the Spirit Tumbler Cup there were to many requests for this product form the "general public" whom Bottless does not work with.
