Brian Thumann Bad Check Writer Creep In Austin Texas
As a Cab Driver I made a special exception and accepted a check for 110 dollars from this gentleman as he was stranded with car trouble and said he had no cash available to him at the time. He claimed his credit cards were being declined because he had lost his wallet but that his his bank was supposed to reactivate them.
To make a long story short I helped him in every way possible even discounting his fair because I felt sorry for his situation and believed his lies.
When I went to collect personally on the bad check which was written on a closed account he threatened me with physical harm. The matter is now in the hands of the County Attorney and I've learned my lesson but be forewarned....this guy is a creep and probably has a drug or gambling problem.

I just filed a rip off report and during the search for it, I discovered this report and thought by some long shot there was some coincidence. The bad check writer I reported Michael G. Martin had a friend ( Brian ) that arrived here from Texas in 2001. The Brian I'm refering to is approx 5'8 or 5'9,has blonde hair, approx 30 yrs old drives a white Lexus w/ Texas plate RTV-86T. Maybe birds of a feather flock together.
