First off let me say. U aint too smart.y would u work for 4 months if ur not getting paid..i wohld have bee. Gone after the first week...ok here is how it goes.the owner of the truck has fuel u bought for truck a. Base plates insurance all the insurances an permits taken out of his check.so if u sit alot or the truck hauled cheap loads and or deadheaded alot of miles which u dont get paid forthats probably y he didnt pay u.he was probably broke himself.on top of that if they tell u for xample the load pays 1000.00 line haul then stop right there a. Do ur math before u except the load..truck only gets about 65% of that .so u only get 650.00 to the truck to haul the load.ok out of the 650.00 ur fuel an all truck deductions mentioned earlier r taken out of that.so now how much did truck gonna clear on that load.and whats left is what owner gets an thats where he gets ur pay from.so in other words u take cheap loads.sit around alot.dead head alot let truck run all the time when parked bjrning fuel.thats g u not getting paid.there not forced dispatched they tell u all about the load .where it picks up.deadhead where it delivers.pay on load an if u ask them what does it pay the truck an what is the fuel surcharge.an j divide the miles into truck pay not line haul.u wouldnknow if the truck was gonna make any money on the load.after a week u not getting paid y didnt u get n one of there company trucks or get a lease truck from them....duh
