C & B TRUCK REPAIR Repair ripoff / Fraudulent warrenty promise SPRINGBORO Ohio
On 09/08/2007 our Unit #106 lost two fuel injectors. Dave Billings owner of C & B Truck Repair promises to repair truck. The next day C & B truck repair claims to have our truck ready. The normal 4 hr. repair job took 11 hrs. This labor time was padded and typically done by this type of operation. The bill had to be paid or the truck would not be released. The bill was paid but ran through a local bar / tavern for $1,465.00. The truck was released and broke down just 75 miles away. The truck had to be towed in to our terminal in Tennessee.
Our mechanices tore down the engine and found the valve settings on replaced injectors were set wrong. This caused the pistons to make contact with the valves. Now we have damaged pistons, valves, and injectors. The repair bill now has totaled over $8,000.00. We have complained to the BBB and hired a attorney. As of 01/28/2008 no one has been able to make contact with Dave Billing or C & B Truck Repair.
