I placed my new boat in high & dry storage at Cape Coral Boat Club & Marina during February 2013 when wife broke her ankle. The first time I took the boat out in early June I discovered a nest of pigeons living in the bow! It was at that time I realized the marina had experienced a complete change of personnel since the year before. Even the sales people were new.

The next time I utilized the boat was mid June with some friends and we noticed the forward hull was scraped along the lower port side. I showed it to the fork lift operator, since the damage appeared to be caused by a fork lift, and was told he would look into it. He never did.

On June 30th I had the boat put on the work rack to give the interior a good cleaning and discovered the graphics on the on the port side had been badly burnished and rubbed out in numerous places, the starboard side had a jagged gouge in the fiberglass, and the stainless steel prop was rusty as if it had been left in the water for an extended period.

"Jay", the fork lift operator and person who appeared to be in charge, had the audacity and unmitigated gall to insinuate I must have caused this damage. For the record, I purchased this boat new for $40,000 the previous year and numerous witnesses will attest I kept it pristine. It was in perfect shape before it was placed in the care of the negligent personal at at Cape Coral Boat Club Marina.

Although this marina claims to have on premise boat detail and restoration facilities, no offer was made to correct the damage caused by their lack of care and due diligence. I have written James Figuerado, the Managing Member, of the Cape Coral Boat Club of SW Florida, LLC which owns and manages the Cape Coral marina facility stating I wiould give his organization the month of July to restore myh craft to the condition it was in when I paid to have it placed in their care.

Should they elect not to do so I will be removing my boat from their premises and filing a lawsuit against them for damages due to their gross negligence. I plan to provide the Ripoff Report an update on this situation as it progresses.
