 This company is a RIPOFF.  Do not waste your money or time.  They will gladly take your money but when it comes to a claim they will do everything in their power to deny it.  I had purchased a top of the line warranty (SO THEY TOLD ME) but when I took my car into the shop it needed an engine seal to be replaced and they denied my claim.  They said they did not pay for seals, i was willing to pay for the seal and they pay for what the policy said it was covered and they denied.  When I talked to Mr. Martin the Manager and mentioned that I wanted to cancel because I was lied too, he had the cancellation in my email before we even got off the phone.    BAD BUSINESS!!

My name is Brian Delman and I am a Customer Support Manager at CARCHEX. We understand why any customer would be unhappy when a claim is denied but we also think it’s important to state the facts around a customer’s complaint. 

At all times it is our priority to provide the highest level of Vehicle Protection Coverage available at a competitive price while delivering an outstanding customer experience, as was the case here with the 1998 Audi A8 with 102348 miles. The customer purchased the highest level of protection available given the year, make, and model of the vehicle. As always we provide our customer’s in advance of purchase a copy of the contract and time to review the agreement before deciding to purchase coverage. Not only did our Vehicle Protection Specialist accurately and transparently review the agreement with the customer but the customer logged in twice to our secure online website to review the agreement before purchasing.

Unfortunately, as per the contract, the Prop Shaft Seal and the Engine Speed Sensor are not listed for coverage on this contract and those were the specific items needing repair.

We have made multiple attempts to try and resolve this situation and assist the customer with the cost of repairs even though the contract administrator has correctly denied the repair claim based on the black and white terms of the contract. However, to date, we have not received any communication back from the customer. We remain willing to assist this customer should they return our calls to provide assistance.
