Dr. Heather Stewart, V.M.D. came out to our home after we called her because one of our horses continued to loose weight. She charged us $200+ and said it appeared that they were starved. We throught parasites, worms, teeth etc. But she said NOPE NOPE NOPE. She said do this and lets check back close to summer. Then she tried to sell me some crazy noze surgery for our lovely pug (we love her snorting). NO WAY... WELL Easter rolls around and ... Apparently after talking with local neighbors for many months, she and our neighbors came to the conclusion that our horses would be better off with them. STEWART DEMANDED THAT WE GIVE BOTH OF OUR HORSES TO HER TO REHOME TO HER BETTER FAMILIES / FRIENDS OR ELSE... Which we responded that our children really love her and we have really seen great improvement in weight and mobility.(note: the thin horse was foundered and lame when we helped our friend resuce her from typical trophy chasers) Next thing you know Both the neighbor and Stewart started to call animal control and make up stories. They actually stated that we did not feed our horses for over 3 weeks at a time (NOTE: when animal control took our horses and gave them to her and had Stewart re examine them, our horse that lost weight actually gained 60lbs or 10% of her weight in less than 100 days, and we proved receipts for alfafa purchases covering every day from last year through the date they stole them). We have always fed alfalfa to our horses, along with some LMF and beet pulp. Atleast half of a 85 pound bale a day to our two horses, which is about 21 lbs a day per horse!!!!!! After using the freedom of information act we now know the TRUTH!!!!!
For now we still don't have either of our horses!!!! yes they did take our healthy horse along with the thin horse.
DO NOT TRUST DR STEWART!!!!!!
On another note: King county animal control Officer SGT DAVID MORRIS has completely insulted us by falling into STEWART and our neighbors plan to steal our horses from us...... SGT MORRIS also stated that if we only would have put down (KILL) the horse when they first visited us instead of trying everything we can do to save her, then they wouldnt have had to come out and take out healthy horse... PURE LIES
Also Heather Stewart had arranged for her buddies Sarah Knapp and Lanette Knapp (enumclaw witches) to come into our home with animal control and king county police and take my 5 year old daughter's horse along with my wife's horse.
HEATHER BETRAYED US..... DAVID MORRIS ALLOWS MANY HORSES TO DIE IN ENUMCLAW, BUT HARASSES LOVING CARING WOMEN AND CHILDREN WITH FALSE AND MISLEADING CLAIMS FUELED BY STEWART AND HER TRAIL BUDDIES.... WRONG WRONG WRONG!

I agree with cloudwatcher. Doc Heather is one of the most caring vets I have come across. She has treated my animals for a few years, now. Clearly, you are paranoid. Doc Heather likely, does not have the time or energy to conspire with your neighbors or anyone else regarding removing animals from one's home.
More likely, your neighbors called her and she referred them to King County Animal Control. Animal Control does not take/remove animals, willy-nilly. Your animals must have been in serious distress to have them immediately, removed by AC. If stories are "made up," then, Animal Control investigates and does nothing. Therefore, clearly, the neighbors' and Doc Heather's stories were not "made up."
There is no valid reason for a skinny horse to remain skinny. None. Do some research. Get a grip and get some counseling.

Sir,
First of all, go to your own doctor and get some treatment for your paranoia. It seems that you are under the delusion that everyone is after you and your horses. Get over that one in a hurry.
I know Dr. Stewart well and she has been my veterinarian for years. Frankly, I have never met a more decent, kind veterinarian than Dr. Stewart and probably never will. She is not only an outstanding vet, she is also an animal lover herself and cares deeply about their welfare. I would not have ANYONE other than her treat my animals. She did not violate any form of privacy law. She took an oath to protect and in apparently in this situation, your former animals needed protection from you, and she did what the law requires of her. Your belief that she rounded up your neighbors to present one big gang attack is ridiculous. Anyone - from someone who makes a turnaround in your driveway to your mailman who sees animals in horrible condition, as yours apparently were, can report this to animal control. From reading your text here, it is obvious that you have neither a clue how to care for any animal properly, nor do you understand abuse.
The fact is this: animal control agents came to your property and when they do this, they ASSESS the situation themselves. If what they see confirms abuse, neglect or find ANY REASON that the animal needs to be removed, they have the power to make that decision. And in your case they did. If it was that quick, those agents saw the condition of your former animals and had little or no doubt that they needed to be removed.
I feel sorry for your dog and I sure as heck hope you don't have children. I hope that you are NEVER, EVER allowed to have another animal in your life. You owe a lot of apologies, sir. To Dr. Heather for one, but mostly to those poor horses you so abused.
Try to remember one thing - FROM NOW ON, YOU WILL BE UNDER THE MICROSCOPE. Get your act together and shape up, or steer clear of all animals. And, you owe Dr. Heather one giant apology, you idiot.
