I called cashcall last year about a loan. They told me no I did not qualify. They called me back in a couple of months that I qualified for $2525. I told them ok but I don't need that much I only needed $1,000. She said (Nia Morjan) that I would have to take the whole thing. I asked her why and she couldn't give me a straight answer. She said if you don't need it all then take what you need a return the rest. I asked he what my interest rate would be and she said 96% I said "WHAT" and I asked her that was too high. She said it was because of my credit. My credit wasn't that bad for the Interest to be so rediculous. So I took the money. I then asked her what the monthly payments will be and she said $216.00 and that if I send them the other portion back faster the payments would go down. Then my monthly payments would be duducted from my account on the 1st of every month. I then had that changed so that I can have payments taken on the 15th.

I started to make payments for like 4 months, then I missed "one" payment and they hastled me after I made payment arrangements with them. Then the following month of the next payment they took a payment out of my account on an unauthorized date. And then took out another payment in the same month.

So I went to the bank to put a stop payment on the account. The still continued to take money out. Then I closed that account. I stop making payments. They would send emails and letters to the house about the payments that needed to be paid. But the balance went to $3000 something and I paid $641 of it back.

They sent me an email to make payment arrangements with them and they asked for me to send a payment of $149.00 and that will be my montly payments for the rest of the year. I said no because I wanted to pay it all off in full. So I waited another 2 months and that is when Matthew Chaisson kept calling and leaving messages and emails in my mail box. He said that I can pay $50 and that will bring my bill to current which it really wouldn't it would mean that they taking more money and that I would still end up paying $3000 when I don't owe that much. So Matthew called my Job which was the wrong thing to do because that just makes me even madder. He called and asked for the $50 and I told him NO because I wanted to pay off the loan. I asked him how much did I already pay and he said $641.00 of it and I said cool lets do it like this. I said I will give you what I owe which is $1884. Matthew told me NO so I said if you don't want it then what the hell are you calling me for. He also said how was he gonna get paid. Threating that he could take half of my check. Then he said we will take it but that doesn't pay off your balance and I said then I aint giving you Sh*T. So Matthew referred me to speak to his Attorney so that is what he called the man. I told him yes to let me speak to him.

The "Attorney" got on the phone named BOB and said he was Matthews boss and that he said I was giving him problems. I told BOB the same thing I told Matthew. I even asked BOB to give me the balance again, he told me a lower balance then what Matthew told me. So this is when I figured this company was full of crap. So I sent matthew and email and told them that I wasn't sending them anything. When I came back from lunch my supervisor told me he called back and was being very rude and nasty and demanded to speak to his supervisor and he gave them the human resource phone number. So to let all people know that CASHCALL is a big JOKE and not to be trusted at all. If you do get a loan pay it off..way before they ask for it back.

I will be reporting this company to the News Reporters and even to the President of the United States. They don't even know what is about to happen. They going down and I hope everyone is with me.

I AM GOING THROUGH THE SAME SITUATION RIGHT NOW. SAME PROBLEM. AND BY THE WAY THEIR ATTORNEY NAME ON FILE WITH THE CALIFORNIA LICENSE DEPARTMENT OF CORPORATION IS DANIEL BAREN. I TOO GOT A DIFFERENT AMOUNT AND ALSO THEY TRIED TO RE-NEGOTIATE AND I WAS GOING TO DO THAT BUT THEY NEVER SIGNED THE CONTRACT WITH ME. HERE THEY GIVE ME THE OFFER AND ONCE I AGREEED THEY BACK DOWN. ONLY TO DELATY FUTHER.

I do believe that 96% violates california's usury rates. I don't have the contact info at my fingertips, but I am quite sure a few phone calls will provide you with those persons in the state government who monitor usury rates. Sorry that I'm not much use.
