I applied for a credit card about 2 weeks or so ago and as soon as i hit submit i remebered that i forgot to click the "do not share my information" box. The next day my phone was ringing off the hook from this guy Steven calling me from credit consolidators.

He started asking me for my information and once he asked for my bank routing number i didn't want to speak with him again. He called be back used the same frist name but the bussnise was called like star something or other. He acted like he had never spoken with me before and when i told him that i had talked to him he said "ohh right right I was just seeing if you were still interested" when i said no he hung up on me.

then the next day a new guy called i didnt really check his name but when i answered the phone he was talking to someone about some guy named Rocky. the i said "Hello" he said "Hi" silence I said "Hello" he said "hi i am so and so from Quality plus benifits can i speak with ..."

i said that it was me and then he was offering me the same card but now he through in a gateway computer! I said that i never filled out that appilacation and then he argued with me about it and then hung up. then i kept getting these calles from them and hanging up and once i could here "steven" making some pitch in the background and then they hung up.

today i recived a fake card (different from the original offer) in the mail and it just looks fake it has no visa or any other logo of the sort on it and it has the magnetic strip in the wrong place. I called the number to tell them that i didnt want the card and that if they were going to keep harrassing me i was going to contact the athourities.

well it just has a recording of the guy "steven" who kept calling me over and over and the only thing you can do is activate the card you cant even speak to a real person. this is a scam and i am turning them in first thing in the morning. this has to stop and i am going to do everything in my power to see that it does!
