On or about May 22 of this year ('15), the power supply/charger for my Mac laptop ceased to function. I ordered a new 60w magsafe power supply for about $30 from Cellular Gadget (free shipping + one year warranty). It seemed like a good deal -- in hindsight, maybe *too* good a deal, since when that charger also 'died' in mid-October of this year (only about five months), I tried to contact the seller to find out how to get a replacement under warranty. I tried calling the 888#, and the fact that it immediately went to a terse message that said something to the effect of: "We're sorry, but no one is available to answer the phone. Goodbye!" should have been my first clue that it was going to be difficult/more like impossible to make good on the warranty coverage. A subsequent email describing the situation went unanswered (this is now a month later..). I imagine that the shady operator will probably pop back up, with a new, catchy site name.
