Charter does this routinely. They advertise a price, they promise you the service for the advertised price, then they jack up your bill. SURPRISE! They claim that "the offer has expired" and they will never resolve it, never keep their promises. They have done this to you, to me, to thousands of others. This is classic bait and switch fraud. If you are calling their customer service to resolve it, forget it. All they will do is avoid the issue, and give you the standard Charter runaround. This is the worst communications company in the USA, the most dishonest, and Consumer Reports magazine or many other sources will confirm this. The best we can do at this point is to demand that our state utilities commissions, our city councils, the FCC throw Charter out of our cities and states. They should not be allowed to do business in this country at all. They have repeatedly breached the public's trust. You are their latest victim, but as charter knows, there are many more where you came from. DEMAND that your cities, your state REPLACE Charter NOW. We deserve much better than the lowest rated customer service in America.
