I never heard of Cinaplay.com until I found a charge for $49.95 on my credit card account. For the longest time, I wasn't getting statements until recently. I found Cinaplay charging my card on a monthly basis since March 2013. The first thing I did was look up what kind of company. Turns out it is similar to Netflix. In fact, I do have Netflix and have no need for this company.
I also found that there are numerous Fraud and Fake Scam reports and complaints about the company. My credit card company told me to try to contact Cinaplay to dispute the charges. Well that didn't go very well. First of all I got a lovely young lady from India. I don't know if I listen with an accent or getting too old but couldn't understand half the things she said so my time with her was lengthy.
She advised me that I have been a customer and opened the account in July 2013. She could explain why I have been charged since March of 2013. I demanded they stop charging me and reimburse me my money. First thing she said is they don't give refunds! When I mentioned all the Fraud and Scam reports about the company, not to mention I never signed up with them; I will add my name to those reports. She talked to her supervisor and they said they will only consider refunding for the last three months. However it will take 45-60 days!
Of course my Credit Card company is disbuting the charges but don't think I will hear from Cinaplay but they will reimburse me. The only thing I did get from Cinaplay after I asked if they can tell if the service is being used, she said she couldn't tell but does have an IP address of who did order it. So now I have to do the work to track them down because it isn't my computer.
