You should review your bill very carefully and see where these extra charges came from. If you are responsbile for the whole bill, see if they will cut it in half (or something) and tell them you will do a payment over the phone then and there. As soon as I get my bill in I review it and if there are any problems I call right away (the day it comes in) and get it taken care of. I have been with Cingular for over 5 years and have had 1 problem with them and got half of the charges reveresed. My boyfriend and I upgraded and we were told text messaging was included- nevertheless, it wasnt and we messaged over 200 messages. The rep cut those charges in half. They didnt have to but they did. If you scream and yell about the bill they will not help you. They have the power to make changes to your bill so treat them with respect and they should help. I hope this helps....
