After my last post about the unnecessary fees I decided to go to a couple other dentists for second opinions. Not only did I find out that the charges I encountered were unnecessary based on my level of insurance, I also found that the 1/4 mouth cleaning that they did needs to be completely re-done.
The x-rays I purchased from Coast Dental to take to the new dentist were done with such old outdated machines , the x-rays were not even legible . I have spoken to several different people at Coast dental and have yet to find anyone who cares even the slightest bit what I have been through with their Apopka office.
It's not only their low level of services, exorbitant amount of fees: but their out right rudeness and uncaring attitude that has me so set back by all of this. I don't understand how they are allowed to get away with this in a health profession. Lets make one thing clear THEIR IS NOTHING PROFESSIONAL ABOUT COAST DENTAL.
I would really appreciate if whomever was so kind to post a number for me to call would straighten out my billing issue, I have called several times, have yet to get a professional person, or any help at all for that matter . After all the fees I have paid and charges which were charged to my credit card I still show an unpaid balance.
The problem is the bill I received and the balance in the office are two different numbers.

I work in the dental industry - unfortunately businesses cut costs on dental insurance by hooking up with the dental clinics who do not offer the highest level of dentistry - due to costs...all dentistry is not the same - if it's cheaper, they have to cut costs somewhere with cheaper materials, cheaper labs, these places move people in and out like cattle since they agree to get paid less they see more people - beware and remember the old saying...you get what you pay for...in every and any industry...unfortunately this is a health care industry which is consistently under rated, partially because of these clinics...this is your health..why would you think the cheaper way is the better way????? You are not going to get the best unless you pay for it.

Wow. That is a canned response if I have ever seen one. This certainly shows the lack of care this company shows.

Thank you for your comment. Coast Dental's standard fees are routinely below the average price for the services provided. When a patient submits a dental insurance plan, Coast Dental must charge the fees contractually determined by the patient's insurance carrier. Our policy is to research insurance coverage and present a thorough treatment plan to the patient including the estimated costs insurance does not cover.
Please contact our Patient Relations team at 855-455-6601 to discuss your specific situation. Thank you.
