Colonial Van Lines and Route 66 Van Lines Damaged goods, lost goods with no documentation/inventory documentation and went way over estimate, lo Margate Florida
Colonial contracted Rpute 66 Van Lines, detroyed several items and did not inventory our boxes nor provide weight receipts on the delivering end to reconcile missing items. We have pages of correspondence attempting to resolve our issues and our claim review has gone on for months.
This was our 12th corporate relocation in a 30 year career and choosing Colonial as the agent especially since they contracted an extremely unprofessional transporter like Route 66 Van Lines was a huge mistake. Our service representative from Colonial left in the middle of our relocation so communication got even worse.
The final invoice arrived a day before our goods which was thousands of dollars over our estimate and the Route 66 Van Lines driver would not deliver our household goods without a credit card # for the balance.
