Consession Corporation of America Bill Van Horn, Food COncession Equipment and Location Scam - Home Depot Hot Dog Locations Arlington, Texas
I too was ripped off by this company/person. The 'company' is actually one person, Bill Van Horn.
I entered into a contract to have all equipment, permits, licenses, etc to have a hot dog food concession business at a local Home Depot. Total cost, $16000.
After weeks of delay, I finally received a food trailer. I had to get it permitted myself. After other delays, I was promised a meeting with Home Depot management, which was 'cancelled' at the last minute. I was told by Mr Van Horn that the manager had decided not to have a food vendor at their store. (Earlier when I voiced my concern, I was told that managers have no say, and that it is all done on the district level). I was never able to meet with any management, as they refused to meet with me. I later learned it was because I was 'represented' by Mr Van Horn.
I have since learned that he has done the same thing (promise Home Depot locations) to others. One person never received anything at all from this company, but invested 3 times what I invested.
All attempts to rectify the situation are met with promises and lies. He was supposed to sell my equipment to new customers. At the time, I still thought he was legitimate. The last time I spoke, he told me he gave my number to more than 500 people. No one has called me about buying my trailer.
Beware! You will NOT get a location. He is about selling inferior equipment. He is not authorized to secure these locations.

I just filed a report on Ripoff Report that you may want to read. Bill Van Horn is a con man, a criminal and needs to be put away in prison where he cannot steal from anyone else. I am told that he and his wife adopted twin boys and he was bragging about the discounts he gets from the state for being a foster parent and adopting.
I do not understand how the state of Texas could give over these twins to a criminal. He has many judgements against him which can be viewed on the internet. What a fine example he is setting for these adopted children. Also, I heard that he was trying to raise money for a baseball camp in Arlington and Crowley.
He has his tenacles in many scams apparently and feeds off of elderly women to steal their money. He had the nerve to text me that he is suing me for defamation of character by stating "falsehoods" about his character. Seems one of my neighbors on the neighborhood watch read my warning about Bill and told him they did not want to do business with him.
The key word is "falsehoods." There is nothing false about how he bilked me out of $65000.00 with his many lies and promises that the work would be done. If I can help in anyway to have him arrested I will do so. I will keep on warning people so that they do not get taken as I was. Also, I found out that he was once a used car salesman and made many promises to customers that the company could not keep. He lied in order to sell cars. He is nothing but a liar and a thief.
