Phone was purchased from a Consumer Cellular vendor in a Target location for an individual whose location and job do not have access to internet except for the mobile hotspot. First off, speed is throttled back at 35gig and you must purchase additional to get to 55gigs. Should you have the misfortune of exceeding 55gig, according to a CC rep, there is no more. However, in fairness, another rep did say there is additional service past the 55gig threshold but it is so slow as to be non-existent. 

Now for the kicker. Service with CC was cancelled as we went to T-mobile. But, the phone could not be ported over. Locked. HUH?? Went back to the CC vendor at Target. No help there either. So we bought another phone, put in the T-mobile sim card and all good there. Called CC to inquire. Rep stated that CC automatically locks the phone until you have 6 months of ACTIVE service with them. Or you could pay a $100 dollar unlocking fee. Rep also said this is stated in the terms and conditions which arrived about a week after the purchase and account set up. Terms and conditions are on a small foldout about 2 feet long and covered with mice type. However, Target did take back the locked phone and refunded the purchase. Beware Consumer Cellular!!
