Consumer Cellular A $30 a month account turns into a $159 charge Florida
I got my son a cell phone and decided on Consumer Cellular, eventually got him the $30 plan. It seemed to work and sometimes he went over. Going over and paying a little more, I get it. I got an alert that he was getting close to his limit and minutes later got another alert that he was over. Remember, this cellular data,it is not that fast but Cosumer cellular charges way faster than the data. You would think the cellular was connected to a fiber optic cable. It went from $30 to $159, too bad there there customer service isn't worth a d**n.
Stay away from this company, they advertise cheap service but one mistake and your screwed.
Ruthless greedy company, they ripped off a veteran.
The quality of data was slow and sometimes the texts would arrive hours later.

After reading dozens of other similar comlpaints, they like to over charge internet data. After reviewing the bill< i did not use $129 worth of Internet Data. It's just plain fraud.

So how are THEY a bad company when its YOUR son who used the data?? Oh!!! I see!!! You must be IGNORANT!!!! That explains EVERYTHING. And YES they want to be paid for what YOUR SON used. Its not and I quote from your VERY BITTER AND JADED POST........

No they DID NOT rip off a veteran. The "veteran" used much more data then they should have and NOW they have to pay for it. How are they being "Ruthless and Greedy" for wanting to get paid for what YOU used??? Kinda just shows that you may have been a veteran but youre really just a spoiled little child who doesnt like to accept responsability. Oh and the "veteran" card is so over used. I would hate to think that someone who served in the US military could POSSIBLY be just that freaking DUMB!!!!
