Cool Springs Wine & Spirits Rips off employees, pays some under the table, lies to customers. Franklin Tennessee
Be very leary of this store in the Cool Springs area. The owners have been known to stop paying employees at 40 hrs. regardless if overtime was worked due to opening and closing shifts. Also, some older employees have been paid "under the table" so their social security is not affected, thereby defrauding the government. Employees are required to wear shirts with their store logo but are not furnished any. All must be purchased and are deducted from your paycheck.
They have advertised products at a ridiculously low price to get you into the store even when that particular product wasn't on hand, then try and sell you the same product but in a different brand at it's regular price. They will, however, match other stores prices but you have to know this and remind them, they won't tell you. They don't always have the most recent ads so bring one for proof.
Closeout wines are purchased from the distributors at a very low price and are pushed to the customer as a "really nice wine" but the only thing "nice" is giving them a huge profit on an old bottle of wine. Shop other stores where the owners try and help the customer and not rip them off. Avoid the mall traffic and shop the other stores in the surrounding area.
