CoSoft France Amelie Solis Ripoff, Scam, Beware. Issues BAD checks, Job is NOT legitimate. Cannes Nationwide
I responded to a job posting on Career Builders, and Amelie Solis, who supposedly works for the company CoSoft, based in France, contacted me via e-mail regarding a Representative position.
The bottom line is that I was asked to cash a check for $4,305.00, take a 10% processing fee off the top, and forward the rest to the company.
I was a little suspicious of the position, and when I received the check, I deposited it, instead of cashing it, in order to insure that it clears.
Needless to say, it did not clear. Upon hearing that I deposited the check instead of cashing it, and that a hold was applied to it, Amelie terminated all communications with me.
I will be taking the check and all communications received to the police, but want to warn anyone considering this so called opportunity.
