Again, we apologize for the issues that this customer has had with the purchase they have made with our company. As we have told her previously, that the purchase of the unit she made, our company has not implied any warranties for the product. All products purchased on our website only have a standard manufacturer's warranty unless an additional warranty is purchased. We are not the manufacturers or the makers of the unit she purchased, we are simply the dealer.
We strive to work with all of our customers on manufacturer warranties by filling all and any claims they have with the manufacturer on their behalf. This customer did contact our claims dept approx year after the purchase was made to request a quote for their insurance company for damaged cosmetic parts. The quote was given to the customer and the customer ordered the parts through our company, which in turn we ordered from the manufacturer for them. (Please note: This customer could have ordered these parts from the manufacturer directly but decided to have our company order the parts for them). The customer was unhappy with the time frame the manufacturer took to get the parts prepared for shipping. They placed their order for parts on 08/03/11 and on 08/08/11 she wrote an email to our claims/parts dept saying that she was not happy that her parts had not been sent yet. In this same email she told our company to send what she has ordered and that to never contact her again. As a courtesy to the customer we had the manufacturer send the ordered part and we did not charge the customer.
This customer has made several complaints against our company via complaint sites and etc. We do not understand why this customer continues to make these complaints but has NOT filled even ONE warranty claim with our company for any issues besides a parts order for cosmetic parts that were obviously damaged in some type of accident. These types of products require mechanical attention and maintenance, as we state this on our website. We do not know how this
customer has cared for this unit or if they have followed all the required maintenance steps, these units also carry a very limited warranty because of this. As for the new claim stated in this report, if the customer has just taken the unit out of winter storage, the unit needs to be taken to a mechanic for service. With any vehicle, they need certain attention to be driven again after not being ran for several months.
Also if this customer is not happy with the quality of the product that the manufacturer has made, then we recommend that the customer file the letter with Attorney General against the manufacturer. The manufacturer may be will to work something out with the customer if they are able to produce repair records that would be above and beyond the normal wear and tear repairs and/or damages caused by the customer.

My update in 2012:
I have persued my claim of being sold a piece of junk up to the Attorney General of California. Their Consumer Complaint dept. took my case and wrote to County Imports asking for their feedback to what I had "alleged". They did not even respond to the Attorney General! Imagine the hutzpah!
This spring of 2012 I took my trike out from winter storage. I had stored it secured from people and traffic, and it was very well protected. I was so anxious for that first ride of the year. I had charged the battery and it started after a few tries. I hopped on and what do you know....?....the throttle doesn't work. My, what a surprise that somethig else has "broken" on this lovely little POS from County Imports. (I have all my receipts, and to date I have paid over half the cost of the trike in repairs--within one year). Now, how am I supposed to get the trike to the mechanic... oh yea, PAY TO HAVE IT TOWED. Pay, pay, pay. I literally have taken a job to get enough money to purchase a used trike from a REPUTABLE DEALER.
I can't even sell this trike with honesty! Who in the world would want to buy it knowing that they will be repairing it every other ride??? And I am NOT exagerating, something always falls off or wears out or breaks. Now I am just plain afraid to go farther than a block because I did before and the chain fell off in the middle of traffic! And it was not the first time that something went wrong on a main, busy street! I had to struggle to get it into a parking lot of a store. I then had to ask the store manager if I could park the trike in their lot overnight to make sure it was not left out on the road. And because I was 18 miles from home I had to call for a ride and a TOW. What a blasted experience!
That's the way it sits right now. If anyone wants to pursue a class-action suit, let me know. At least I know THERE IS A GOD who will get them in the end. Ah....I wish I could be there!

I bet if Obama himself went to their store and told them to refund my money for the great looking POS I bought they would just sip their coffee and stare at him. Other people who have been through the same situation as I have should contact me and we can file a class-action suit. The lawyers would jump on that because of the amount of people involved. I know because that is what my lawyer told me.

First I would like to apologize for any issues that this customer has incurred. I have looked into this report and found several discrepancies. In the first "problem", this customer reports that the unit took extra time to arrive to them. According to our records they did in fact order this unit on 05/05/10, shortly after the order was placed the customer was notified that the unit they had ordered was on backorder with the manufacturer. They were given the option of cancelling the order or waiting for the manufacturer to received the unit from backorder to be shipped out. The customer chose to wait for the unit come into stock. The customer was not charged until the unit arrived to the manufacturer for shipping on 05/27/10. The customer received the unit within the promised 5-15 business days after the order became valid. This customer has had this unit for over a year before they had recently notified us of some parts they were in need of. Their intentional contact with us was not to order parts but was to obtain an insurance quote for their insurance company. (According the parts that were ordered and the type of claim this customer made, it is believe that this customer may have been in an accident with the unit). For the second "problem", we do strive to answer every phone call that comes in and return all calls and/or emails within a timely matter. We return calls in the order they are received. During the months of April to approx September are our busiest time of the year. We state this on our website and actually recommend that customers try to communicate with the warranty/parts dept via email for a faster response. We received our first email about the insurance claim parts needed on 07/19/11. We requested that the customer send us pictures so that we can request the correct parts from the manufacturer. We received the pictures of the parts needed on 08/1/11. We immediately forwarded that email to the manufacturer for a quote. (Usually the manufacturers turn around time for responding is 72 hours). We received the quote from the manufacturer and forwarded this to the customer. The requested that the parts be ordered on 08/03/11. We do state on our website that parts can sometimes take 2 to 4 weeks to be received from the manufacturer depending on if the parts are available. This customer did request that the parts be expedited and we notified the manufacturer that we would like them the order to be placed on the priority list. The manufacturer needs approx. 3 business days to prepare the order for shipping and then the parts were to be placed in expedited shipping to the customer. The customer notified us on 08/08/11 via email to cancel the order being expedited. We do currently show that the order for the fender is in Processing status. After notify the manufacturer to find out why the order is still processing, it has been found that the fender is on backorder in the color requested. Again this is why we state on our website that orders can take up to 4 weeks depending on the manufacturers stock. We also state very clearly on our website that these units are sold to customers at the wholesale warehouse pricing. We simply pass the order that the customer places with us to the manufacturer, since as a consumer they are not able to order from them. All of the warranties and parts implemented on our website are strictly through the manufacturer. All the information pertaining to terms of agreement and Warranty are available on our public domain for all to see, we have not hidden any of this things. We believe this customer has failed to completely read all of the information regarding the type of purchase that was made with our company and recommend that they go back to the website and read the information. We recommend that any customer interested in buying a moped, scooter or ATV online at a wholesale price read all the terms of agreement, warranty agreements and all the FAQ. Most customers will find that all wholesale purchases of this type are the same with any online dealer. If this customer has any further questions regarding their order they may call our customer service dept at 702-628-5468 ext 105 M-F 9:30am to 5:30pm PST.
