Daimler Crysler Dodge Durango dud ripoff Auburn Hills Michigan
I purchased a 1999 dodge durango from a dealership in peru indiana they told me it was five star check and it was in wonderful condition i will admit i bought it used it had 42000 miles on it and looked very good and i excepted their word on it it the last three years i have only put 20000 miles on the truck and now the front end is coming apart. I had heard of all the recalls on the durangos for the front end problems and took mine out to the dealership were i bought it they said it wasn't included in the recall. that crysler only went back to 2000 for the recalled durangos and other models. for the faulty "maintenance free ball joints" i have checked on reports of hunderds of durango's in the model year of 1999 that have the same issues as the recalled years. what is going on is the NTSB waiting on someone to die before they step in and force crysler to fix the mistake. It was poor engineering and nobody should have to pay with there life so they can save a few bucks
