Daugmilla Aggressive/Threatening Phone Call claiming to be IRS investigator Brooklyn Nationwide
Received a phone call from a person claiming to be named "Daugmilla" or something to that effect who claimed to be with the investigative dept of the IRS. Very aggressive, claiming they needed me to call back or there would be a warrant issued for my arrest due to legal action filed against my name, ssn, and location. This is an identical SCAM to what others are reporting with different named "agents" -I guess people can get quite-scared of an aggressive scammer like this, as they threaten legal action, and make you wonder instantly what you could've possibly done to have the IRS investigate you!
I wanted to re-report this, because it is freshly done today, and they called both my home phone and mobile. This is truly MADDENING because they use fear of our Internal Revenue Service to try to con people. I never got a person when I called back -just busy -(I guess busy threatening others) -but at any rate, I'm sure had I gotten-thru, they would've directed me to pay them using their account number of western union or something... This is BAD STUFF and we need to send cops to their address for a little shake-down of their own! DON'T FALL FOR THIS ONE!
