Placerville,#2REBUTTAL Individual responds

I'll take this point by point.
I suggested inspectors that have done a very good job for my clients in the past. I have never had a complaint about the inspectors I recommended in 18 years. When they ordered their own inspection I fully cooperated, some people like to use their own, that's fine with me.
It did snow, I had no problem going up there, I simply warned them it could be a tough go for them. It didn't matter to me, I had a 4 wheel drive truck.
The pest inspection and septic inspection where inspectors I recommened. The client picked their own home inspector. All the inspections were on different days. I never once argued with these clients during the transaction.
I would never, ever, fail to disclose anything, particularly a County required correction. What would be the upside? Risk a lawsuit for a $170k transaction? It makes no sense.
The propane tank had a gauge that was stuck, we all thought it was nearly full. Between Re/Max and the propane company we filled it for them. We paid them to replace the woodstove they said was missing but was never actually present when the offer was accepted. When made aware of their concerns I never said "what to you want me to do about it".
Regarding the key. They were coming through town early in the morning so the key was hidden at the office for them to pick up. I advised them that I could do that and they said that was just fine, no complaint.
I was there for them after close of escrow. About 7-10 days after it closed she called with a plumbing problem and I happily made sure the home warranty company addressed the problem immediately, which they did. I followed up and she was happy with the response.
The truth is the upset started with the running out of propane. The gauge was stuck, how was anyone to suspect such a thing? It was unfortunate but prior to that time they never had one bad thing to say about my service to them.
It's also unfortunate that they don't appreciate that I found them a great deal on a house that's worth a LOT more then they paid for it.
