I'll be brief and to the point.
By purchasing from Debcha Kennels, you are supporting and keeping them in business at the EXPENSE of the poor dogs (which to Debcha is nothing more than a commodity). The dogs did not ask to come into the world this way. Also, I suggest you read the comment on Insider Information.
We purchased (I mean rescued) our Shih Tzu in 2004.
Any serious reputable breeders will allow you to see the parents of your new family member. Not these guys!! They gave a dumb excuse that the parents could not be seen, cause the mother was still nursing. What the ****! BIG RED FLAG!! An employee was also real careful not to expose the room behind the door, where it was dark with small cages and barking dogs.
Four days after bringing our Shih Tzu home, we almost lost her. She declined rapidly and became lifeless. We rushed her to Med Vets emergency, where she was diagnosed with having the Coccidia parasite. How do you catch the parasite you ask? You guessed it, from Feces.
Are you getting the picture yet?
Furthermore, she developed badly crooked teeth, and a gammit of genetic health issues, an indication of inbreeding.
Long story short. BEWARE! DO NOT SUPPORT THESE SHISTERS. THEY NEED TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!
I don't know how they can sleep at nights.

I am a family member of the owners of Debcha Kennels and I don't care what the vet says I know for a fact that they are a puppy mill. It disgusts me honestly. I have seen first hand how those poor dogs are forced to live. I have seen them jump and lunge at cages because they just want some attention. And I have also see some cower away when you walk up to the cages in fear because they've never had human contact. It's really sad to think that someone could put these dogs through this. And it's not just a couple set of parents. It's cages on top of cages. Some have 2-4 dogs in each kennel. All matted up and filthy. Living in there own feces. I believe that they should be turned in and have them taken away. It's no life for an animal. They always are saying how much they love dogs but if they really did could they have hundreds of poor dogs living the way they live? Absoultly not. They are in it for the money and money onle. They don't do it for the love of the breed. But for the love of money and it makes me sick when I think about it. They keep all the dogs in Upper Sandusky. It's absoultly horrible in there. Please please think before purchasing a pup from them. And if you know anyone who is thinking of getting one from them warn them. They inbred. Mother with son, father with daughter, and brother with sister.

As a veterinarian who has examined many, many Debcha Kennels puppies over the last 20 some years, I can attest that Debcha Kennels is in fact one of the best kennels I have dealt with. The puppies are healthy, have always had an excellent vaccination and worming routine, and are good representatives of their respective breeds. Anything can (and sometimes does) go wrong with any puppy, any human, or any living creature at any time. In spite of the best breeding practices, sometimes things don't end up like we would want. Thankfully, Debcha Kennels has a written guarantee covering each puppy against life-threatening congenital defects. This is protection for the consumer. After reading Andy's report, I have cause to ponder Andy's emotional and mental stability and well-being. Any vet not interested in the bottom line with his accountant would not let someone put a loved, elderly pet through procedure after procedure -- translated into mega dollars and mega pain. The quality of their work is further validated by the fact that in 20 some years of doing business, only a handful of people are not happy. You know the saying, "You can't please all the people all the time -- and sometimes you can't please someone no matter what. If you want a nice, healthy, socialized puppy for your family, I advise my clients to purchase their puppy from Debcha Kennels. they do an outstanding job.
