Dillards Account defender run around and rip off Carol Stream Illinois
I have been paying for accountdefendr ins. on my Dillards account since 11-2003.
This ins. was offered on my Dillards bill the purpose of this ins. was stated that if I was layed off or be came disabled it would pay what was left owing o n my account.
I became disabled on June 5, 2005. I called Accountdefender at that time. I was informed that I had to be disabled 90 days before they would pay.
I waited till Sept. to call and ask for the forms to start my claim.
They sent me forms and I had them filled put anad sent them back. I received a letter saying my account was never actifaded.
I called the copy where the letter came from and was informed that the no longer handled Dillards accountdefender.
I was told to call a different company that informed me they knew nothing about what I was talking abount they had never handled anything for Dillards.
At this time I called Accountdefender back and was informed that I had the wrong forms and they didn't know where I had gotten them.
The person I talked to was rude and abusive to me. I finally ask if he could send me the correct forms. He said he would over night them to me.
That was over 3 weeks ago. I called agin and was informed that I could not talk to the manger of the department and they had no record of my conversation of 3 weeks ago. So again I ask if they would send me the forms.
I was told they only sent out forms on fridays and that they never overnighted them.
I know that this was long but I want to warn people ad to se if anyone else has had this problem and how or if they got it settled.
