I found out after having my Direct TV installed that I didn't get the channels I was promised with the basic package. I specifically inquired before placing my order about certain channels and was assured they were all in the basic package. WRONG! And now there's nothing they'll do about it except try to SELL me a more expensive package. In addition to this I was told that I qualified for local channels at no extra charge. WRONG again! So then I was told I could have network channels at no extra charge. Not quite what I'd wanted but I thought ok let's do that. Then I find out that I'm being billed for EACH one of those!! I was also not told about the extra charge for the DVR on top of the second receiver charge. When I spoke to a supervisor about it, they're basically willing to do absolutely nothing except try to SELL me a higher priced package.

As for the rebate: when I placed the order I was told that a couple weeks after installation I would receive a very simple rebate form. Just fill it out and send it in, it's very easy, is what they told me. I gave them about four weeks, it wasn't here. So I called in and was told something completely different AGAIN! I need all kinds of paperwork (that I don't have) to send in with a form that I could download, etc. etc. I'm trying to access my account online but the system won't let me do that either! I've had it with this company and I'd advise everyone to stay away from them. I had some trouble with DISH network in the past but nothing like what I'm having with this company.

Now they won't even let me access my account online! After they provided me with the account number, they're telling me that this is the WRONG account number, it belongs to someone else! This company is absolutely unbelievable!!!!! Blatant fraud! I would rather go without TV than ever deal with this company again.
