DirectBuy Dont believe a word they say Westminster Colorado

I like most people have seen DirectBuys commercials on TV.The info seemed legit so i called & set up a "tour" for me & my uncle to attend.At first everyone seemed to be very friendly & helpful. We watched a video on all the claimed "benefits & financial savings"

After that we were broken up into groups of those who came together & a DirectBuy Rep spoke with me & my uncle stating we had to make a decision before we left to join because we now knew of their pricing.

We hadnt even seen any catalogs or price lists so this seemed odd at best. He then brought out paperwork to join being very forceful & stated we could cancel if we later changed our minds.

We paid a down payment of $500.00 on a credit card & were told we would receive paperwork to make payments on the bal of $4500.00. Two months later we decided to replace the carpet & spoke with Charlie in the flooring dept.

We picked a carpet & i asked her to fax or email me the cost. She said ok but then never did! I then checked with CarpetMill & other carpet stores & they were actually 300.00 less...i guess that is why she never wanted to send something in writing.

There is no service after the sale because i have left several messages about my

concern about finding lower prices & have yet to hear back from anyone. It is only a matter of time before Directbuy gets sued for fraudulent business practices, but not soon enough!
