Dobb Auto & Tire got new front tires and alignment, now have a bad vibration which they say is a bent driveshaft that happened while in thier shop also money and things stolen from van, ripoff! St. Ann Missouri
I took my van in to have two new front tires put on and an alignment. It cost $232.00. When I left the shop, I noticed a vibration in the front end and it shook my steering wheel. Took it back 3 days later, and they said I threw a wheel weight, asking me if I hit something. No, I hadn't.
They put one on and it was better but sitll had the vibration. So, I made an appointment and took it back on a saturday. That was the next weekend. They told me that they hadn't touched it because they could see the drive shaft was bent and determined I must have hit something. I did not hit anything. But it vibrated much worse and when I got home I noticed they had put my back tires (old ones) on the front and te front ones on the back.
They said they would give me a price for replacing the driveshaft. I told them to call me and let me know what it was. They never did, so I called them asking for it. I was promised they would call and they never did. Now, I am afraid to drive it, but must as I have to get to work. I am 60 years old and a woman, so of course, I know very little about all this, but I know when I am beng shucked and jived. I am very angry about it all.
