Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I had a recall on a Homelite leaf blower for a defective gas tank and was directed to a Authorized Reapir Center.  Don's was the closest.

I drop off my leaf blower on 9/7/11.  On 9/20/11 I called and was told that they still didn't have the part. I called again on the10/14/11 and they said it was supposed to be done in the next week or so.  I called again on 10/20/11 and was told it was done and I went and picked it up.

It was a brand new gas tank and you could tell there had been no gas put in the tank.  I asked if they had tested it and they said "yes"  I took the blower home but did not have a chance to try it.

On 11/1/11, I tried to run the blower but it would not suck any gas.  I called Don's, but they were closed.  On 11/12/11 I drove to Dons with the blower.  Don, himself, was in the store.  I explained the problem and asked if they had tested the blower after the repair.  Don stated that in a gas tank repalcement, they would not have tested the repair.  I asked if they could repair it while I waited since it had already been a month but Don said there was no one there to do the reapir.  I asked if Don himself could do it but he was too busy.  I keft the leaf blower and was called later that day to say it was ready.  I drove back again, for the 4th time, and found that they had installed the gas lines wrong and that it was now working.

If they were so busy that it was going to take a month, they should have said something.  If they were so confident in their repair that they didn't need to test it, it should have run.

Obviously, Don's Small Engine repair does not need repaeat business because they will never get mine.  I will also me contacting Homelite to see if I can get them removed from the "Authorized Repair Center" list.

I have found there is another Autorized Repair Center in Columbia Heights and I would recommend them over Don's.  The contact info is below.

Humm...  Did you even look up A & C Small Engine reviews?

And Homelite doesn't want to hear you complain.

I had the same backpack blower and the fuel tank was recalled.  I had mine in the shop for 3 months because the gas tank was on back order from the manufacture, which was understandable, I'm sure there's allot of thees blowers out there.  Its unfortunate that you had to make 4 ROUND trips to Don's but mistakes can happen, I'm sure you have maid a few in life too.  For you to come on a place like this and WHINE is ridiculous.

Get A Life Dude, your a joke!
