On 12/30/2011 I went to downtown auto sales in huntington wv to purchase this vehicle. After paying $710.00 down I was given the keys with temp. taqs,Immediately after leaving the business my 1993 jeep cherokee overheated on 5th street hill on my way back from down town auto sales.I called the owner Thomas Matthews to let him no what had happened to the vehicle. He sent a rollback after it and the next day I was called to come and retrieve it,I then went back down to said business and got my vehicle, well after being told it was fixed problem resolved,I broke down on a place called Harvey Town Rd. in front of a church while heading home. This time the overheating had somehow caused a loss of power and the vehicle was running sluggish. And smoking like a freight train, grey smoke like a fog.I immediately called downtown auto to explain the situation and a rollback was deployed. The next day I got a phone call from the owner telling me that the vehicle is fixed.I went back down to them and picked it up.Now 3 days later while shopping problems started again??? The fuel injectors were leaking gas badly, still engine overheated but had gotten use to it.I called someone to come and pick up me and my family, then immediately called the owner Thomas J Matthews to tell him what had occurred?? I am complaining based solely on one valid reason? Even though I have been a good sport up til now? I was sold junk!! and it cost me near $4000 for the vehicle,I have made my payments every month in a timely manner,I even paid off 2 years prior a 1998 Mercury Sable Wagon which ran great!! no problems at all besides seat-belt issues. That cost me $3000.. and I was very satisfied with the purchase paying it off in a 12 month period made me a good customer. Now I just don't understand what the problem is here??? Can anybody understand why my vehicle has been even now? Overheating, throwing oil, running sluggish? I want a better  vehicle from this business. Not a death trap for my family to have to ride in we might be killed by such foolishness.

from what i read on your post. to me it sounds like you have a blown head gasket. but please don't take my word for this. it just sounded like a few cars in my past that did the same thing and that's what it turned out to be the problem.

I definitely test drove the vehicle before purchasing it,and yes it drove good then. But problems arose directly after my purchase for your 411!! I will not chalk it up to a bad experience because I don't plan on being ripped off without a fight.

So, you bought this car and the minute you drove it off the lot started having problems with it.  Did you  even bother to take it for a test ride BEFORE you bought it?  From the sounds of your write up, it wouldn't have taken very long for issues with the vehicle to show up even on a short test drive.  I'm sorry but I have little sympathy for you.  Even rudimentary common sense says you test the vehicle before  buying.   Chalk it up to experience for future purchases.
