Buyer BEWARE of doing business with DPD pools, pooldeals.com They state on their site that 95% of orders are fulfilled the same day. They have a cute animated customer service rep on their site, it is the only contact they will have with you. The site looks very professional, please note that it is very decieving. I ordered a Liner from them on 5/8. They charged my credit card on 5/9. I checked on their order status page an over and over and the status remains the same since the start. It states that the item should ship within the next 1-3 business days. It has been at that status all along. I have called their phone number which I had to find elsewhere on the net. I actually found several numbers for that company and they all lead to the same black hole of leave a message and they will get back to you in the next 24 hours or log on to their site and they will do the same aftger you fill out their form. I must say I have left numerous messages as well as email with the same response. Nothing!!! No News. I finally sent them the following message;

Good Afternoon. I have been trying to reach you by this service as well as phone for several days regarding my order. I have had no response on your part. I am tired of listening to the empty promises that are stated on your web site. I believe that you are nothing less than a bogus business and I have contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge which you levied against my credit card. I tried in good faith to contact you many times and am finished. I realize that your phone is never answered nor are calls or email answered. I have been waiting for my liner for much longer than you have stated and I am not willing wait any longer. Since you have not provided me with any tracking numbers, the item must still be at your facility. I am cancelling my order and I hope you do not continue to practice business in such manner. It is truly a shame to treat people this way. I expect I will have no charges to my account.

They replied with this standard form letter which I believe is automated;

This item was to be shipped directly from the manufacturer. We certainly do apologize for the delay during this busy time of year. We will contact the manufacturer & request the order be cancelled. If the order can still be cancelled with our supplier we will cancel out the order & issue a credit within 72 hours. Thanks.

I have yet to recieve the credit!!

I sent them two distinct requests 4 days apart and recieved the exact same response. They did not state that the order was or was not able to be stopped. I did provide the proper email address as well as phone number every time!

I believe that everyone should avoid this company. I ordered another liner from a local company and I do not need two liners. I want them to refund my money NOT provide a store credit for a store that doesn't exist anyway. Do yourself a favor really check out the seller before you buy on the internet. I hate for you to be treated this poorly.

Finally the Liner Arrived! DPD Pools, they delivered but customer service is Non Existant

I arrived home from work and I couldn't believe my eyes. There on my porch was the Liner that I had been waiting for. I had waited as long as I could before filing my origional report on this site. I noticed all the reports in the past 10 days with the same problems that I was having. I checked the packing slip and found that the liner was sent by S&K Plastics out of Brooklyn NY. The origional order was placed to them on 5/9 the day my credit card was charged. Unfortunately the only way I found this out was because it arrived on my porch. I still have not heard from DPD pools regarding the tracking numbers which they had promised. If they had any sort of customer service then they could have avoided this origional negative report. I would have been wiling to wait if I at least was informed that there was going to be a delay. I repeated my pleas for information with no response. I wish they had just informed me of the issues and I would not have filed this in the first place. I hope this gives others hope that they will be sooner or later recieving their liners. DPD pools needs to re-evaluate their customer service policy and procedure.
