Patient had Procera Zirconia crowns done over 2 years ago. The patient's results were perfect and this material is extremely difficult to break. If Procera breaks in normal dental function the laboratory replaces the laboratory fee at no charge. The Labs do not ever pay for the doctors services. This procelain only breaks when the break is caused by an accident. Mrs. Alexinster came into the offfice on an emergency visit and admitted to the breaking of the Procera porcelain by "slamming" into her tooth when her elbow slipped of a table and the coffee cup damaged her tooth. She requested I get her in and take care of her problem immediately. I did so canceling out other patients since it was a 2 hour procedure. She agreed to the fee and I performed the work. She called the next day to find out when the laboratory would complete the work and spoke to my office manager once again stating she and her husband Gary Alexinster would guarantee paying the fee. The laboratory completed the work to perfection and Mr. Alexinster called several days later with an angry barrage stating he would not pay anything for the work performed. I assume he went elswhere and I was never paid for any work performed, but instead he wrote a liablous Yelp report. He never responded to a letter sent by my attorney who advised me to keep track of any and all costs and financial losses from patients who responded by not continuing as my patients due to his character assassination.
I have never had anything but respect and the finest dentistry and ethics for my patients for over40 years of practicing dentistry. I have always used only the finest laboratories and finest materials for the work I have performed. The patients reports is filled with untruths and all fees are average fees.
