Okay first of all if you want to know anything about the general nature of this woman all you have to do is read her rebuttal to a previous patient where she basically shames and blames a depressed person for trying to commit suicide. I started seeing her when I was 17 for ADD and MDD. She basically perscribed me the medications she had pharma memorabila for around her office meaning she is being courted and bribed to perscribe these medications by the pharma companies. The first red flag should have been when she openly told my parents "I AM NOT YOUR FAMILY THERAPIST" after my dad sent her an email inquiring about my treatment. I was in a fragile state and very insecure about my life prospects and she would spend almost entire sessions bragging about her daughter going to Amherst College. To add insult to injury when we asked her for a therapist referal she referred us to another horrible woman and admittedly a friend who used to confuse me with other patients. But the absolute WORST and most frightening experience was when I found out all of the horrible side effects of the anti-depressants that she had perscribed to me and neglected to tell me. I specifically asked her at 17 years-old "are there any side effects I should be worried about?" and she non-chalantly said "no". I found that very odd as there are literally no medications currently on the market that have NO listed side-effects. I'm pretty sure she thought I was stupid. I found out more than two years later that the medication I was on was potentially LEATHAL when combined with grapefruit or grapefruit juice. I didnt find that out from her as the internet is actually more reliable than that horribly irresponsible woman. I had been periodically eating grapefruit and experiencing heart palpetations.

The final straw was when I found out that the same medication had the side effect of lowering the body's vitamin B levels to dangerously low life-threatening levels. I had been on this medication for 5 years at the time and only found this out after harmful symptoms like numbness, tingleing and mood swings strated occuring. Both of these issues could have been easily avoided. I had the opportunity for five years to NOT damage my body if I had only been made aware of the harmful side-effects by this genius with a Georgetown degree. Finally I just want to say that I am sure she vacations 3-4 months out of the year. I have heard many previous accounts and been told myself by her "WHY DIDN'T YOU CALL ME?" when issues arise. I can recall atleast half a dozen attempts to contact her for regularly scheduled appointments at different points throughout the year and being met with out-of-office notifications. She is perpetually unavailible probably enjoying the benefits of her clients' misfortune. I now have graduated with a degree from an excellent school and am living happily under the supervision of a much more responsible and availible doctor on a very low dose of SSRI medication. Please never see this con-artist. She is running an extrememly dangerous and irresponsible practice. From one degree holder to another: Georgetown should have taught you better and you should really be ashamed of yourself.
