EBay Seller's ID: Plumberhvac570, Patricia Moran Won auction, 1st Pump Missing Parts & Defective. Returned $35 Shipping. 2nd Pump Froze Up, I Repaired. I need $ back for return shipping & repair. Little Marsh Pennsylvania
I Won the eBay auction for a New JB industries DV-200N 7CFM Deep Vacuum Pump - $287.15 with shipping.
The 1st Pump I received was Missing Parts & Defective. I contacted the seller & demanded my money back. The seller stated they would only replace it and would not pay return shipping. I shipped it back to the seller at a cost to me of $32.07.
The 2nd Pump arrived and it was Froze Up, I repaired it to avoid anymore inconvenience & expense. So far this pump has cost me an additional $100.00 for shipping & repair. I also contacted JB Industries about the 24 month warrantee, stated in the auction description. JB Industries will not honor it because the seller is not one of their wholesalers.
Now with the total cost to me now exceeding $387.00, I could have purchased a new one from the local distributor for another $50.00 with a valid 24 month warrantee.
I suggested to the seller, as a matter of good business practice to refund me $100.00. The seller did respond stating: (I will have to get authorization (just a formality) for a refund, unfortunately that cannot happen until Monday. I will contact you again Monday morning).
Since they did not state how much of a refund and this transaction had been going on for over 45 days where I could not file a claim with the PayPal resolution center, I left the seller negative feedback.
Now the seller will not negotiate.
