This company filed a 1099 C against me for 2010, in which they never sent me but reported to the IRS. The only number listed for them takes you to Chase Morgan or sa number you HAVE to leave a message and they don't call you back. My 2010 return as been adjusted by the IRS because of the 1099 C they reported but did not send to me

We recently received the same thing as you from the IRS. We never received a 1099-C from them and don't have a clue what this is for. We have searched online for information regarding this company. They are very difficult to track down. We have called phone numbers listed for them only to be routed to Chase Morgan who states they are not affiliated with them. In researching them online, it seems to be a recurring theme with them that they bought debts from chapter 13 bankruptcies. We did have this type of bankruptcy back in 1996-97 and everything has since been discharged from that (long already), so no idea what this is for. We are attempting to reach the IRS to get a valid phone number to try and resolve this.
